he year 2019 has been crazy in terms of smartphone releases and now, it seems like Samsung is going to cap off the present year by launching new smartphones at an event in Vietnam. We know about a few Samsung smartphones that are in the offing - the Galaxy Note 10 Lite, Galaxy S10 Lite and the new flagship Galaxy S11 series. But the news is that the company has confirmed to launch a new Galaxy A-series phone, that is, Galaxy A51.
Samsung Vietnam had posted a video announcing the launch of the new Galaxy A-series in an upcoming event on December 12 (Spotted by HT). Speaking of the Galaxy A51, the smartphone has been leaked many times with its renders and specifications. And now, an exclusive press renders of the Galaxy A51 (Spotted by Sam Mobile) reveal a little more.
Following is the TL;DR version of the specs and features of Samsung Galaxy A51:
- Starting with the colour variants, the Galaxy A51 will be available in different colours including classic black and white. The phone may also get pastel gradients like Summery pink and green.
- The Galaxy A51 is expected to feature a 6.5-inch full HD+ Super AMOLED infinity-O display. The screen of the phone will also get an in-display fingerprint sensor.
- The Galaxy A51 will feature a quad camera set-up on the back in a rectangular camera module. The brand claims that the A51 is going to be the most affordable smartphone with four rear cameras. The rear cameras will include a 48-megapixel camera, a 12-megapixel ultrawide camera, a 5-megapixel camera, and a 5-megapixel macro camera.
- There will be a punch-hole camera at the centre on the display of the Galaxy A51. The front-facing camera gets a 32-megapixel sensor to click selfies.
- The smartphone could be powered by Samsung’s own Exynos 9611 chipset. On the software front, GalaxyA51 could run Android 10-based One UI 2.0 out-of-the-box.
- The Galaxy A51 will include a 4,000mAh battery and could support 15W fast charging system. The smartphone could be offered in two storage variants - 4GB of RAM paired with 64GB of internal storage, and 6GB of RAM paired with 128GB of internal storage.
