Samsung is rolling out the update for the Galaxy A42 5G, in its home country, South Korea on all major carriers and will probably release the update in more markets in the coming days.
The firmware version which comes with the Galaxy A42 5GAndroid 13 update in Korea isA426NKSU2DVK2. The update includes the November 2022 security patch, which is the latest available for Galaxy devices at this time (though the December patch should not be too far away).
The Galaxy A42 5G joins over 40 Galaxy devices for theAndroid 13 One UI 5.0 update long before 2023, Samsung is well on its way to completing the roll-out of all devices by next year.
While, it is possible that countries and carriers will have released the update before 2023, which is an issue that we hope Samsung will respond quickly.
