Purchased this phone on October and updated on December 31st. Before the update, battery life was great that by the end of the day it would still have 70 or 60% (Heavy youtube/Instagram/discord usage). After the update the drain got so bad that it drains 1% every 7-10 minutes and it's becoming very frustrating. Even the overnight drain is so bad it eats up 3 or 4 percent. Power saving and limiting CPU and the battery charge to 85% did nothing.
Note that it was never like this before I updated. Am I the only one facing this issue? I tried everything ranging from restricting apps, turning off 5G and other features to a whole factory reset and the problem still persists.
Will they fix this issue in an upcoming update?

Confirmed that is Android 13. I bought this phone brand new 2 weeks ago. Got all updates and battery drain like crazy. Never used android 12 on this. I've been desperated, because my other phone - oppo with same battery capacity could be one of best autonomy phone which I had. In normal conditions oppo needs charge once a 2 days. After that I chosen phone by battery capacity thinking that on samsung will be similar and I always like samsung phones... from galaxy s1!

I decied to flash manually and back to Android 12... Odin, sammobile fw etc... never doing that. First flash was unsuccesful but second yes. After that I can use this phone like normal. Changed settings to disable update notifications and bought ! app for this - it's ridiculous).

At end, on Android 12 phone working normal but autonomy of oppo was better, and oppo have optimizing night charging. Samsung wants original usbc charger because notify about checking cable etc. At usbc charger - charges about 2h without fast charge. On normal old charger - charges 4h what is better for battery life but doesn't have optimizing charing. Only opotion is limit to 85% charge. Samsung - this is so simple, bring it to out phones, or maybe they want... from us to change every year new phone?

All these problems makes, that I never buy a Samsung phone... THANK YOU SAMSUNG.

Respected Samsung Team,

This is not the issue related to Samsung service center. I think there is a glitch or bugs in android 13 which consuming battery rapidly.

Kindly check it with update.

Thanks
