Fingerprint sensor stopped working after January security update

After installing the latest January security update, my finger print sensor stopped working. Has anyone faced this problem too.

you need to visit service center

Once clear previous fingerprints and register fresh one

try and check

or once perform normal phone reset settings

settings>general management>select reset>click on reset settings

if problem still persists,visit nearest service center

i am not able to remove the already registered fingerprints. i tried to reset the settings but the problem persists. i will try hard restore first. if the problem persists. will visit service centre

Better perform reset apps preferences once

settings>applications>click 3 dots at top right corner>select reset apps preferences
and


and check recently installed 3rd party apps

I faced the similar problem, so I unistalled all my third party apps and restarted the device. Maybe some app may cause a bug !. You may reset it and see

i tried safemode on my phone which is effective same as uninstalling 3rd party apps. but problem still persists

visited service centre. They recalibrated the sensor. now its working fine
