Fingerprint sensor not working

I am using samsung a72.. n now my fingerprint sensor not working..can someone guide me please I have already restarted my cellphone and tried everything possible but it's not working

Try going to a mobile repair shop

Remove all fingerprints and re-register them, then check again.
Also, wipe the cache partition.

Please attempt to operate the device in safe mode. Should that prove ineffective, consider performing a factory reset of the phone.
