After I got oreo update on my Galaxy A9 Pro the fp sensor was working just fine. Yesterday I reset my phone and after that my phone's fp sensor is not registering fingerprint. And giving error and saying 'make sure the home screen is clean and dry, then try again'. The home key is just fine but still the problem persists. Please anybody help me fix that!

nah bro I've seen online that this problem occurs in many devices from every oem. it's just a random issue. neither particularly a hardware nor a software issue. it just happens outta nowhere then gets fixed by itself sometimes. if not then service center is the way to go. they better not charge me a single penny or I'll give very bad feedback about them. been a loyal user for years. this is first time something awkward happening though.😁

Haha, I visited the service center to get this thing fixed. After an hour they came and said that it cannot be fixed and it seems like a hardware issue. upon enquiring the cost they said it mgt cost around 2k + tax.. I too read that this issue mgt get fixed itself. anyway let's hope for the best.
