File Transfer to Pc

My PC won't detect my Samsung A55, do I need to buy Samsung type c to type USB cable to get detected on PC? Someone said i need Samsung original type c to type USB cable to get detected on pc Because Samsung provide type c to type c cable only in the box.

Your pc can still detect your phone if you use the cable given in the phone box and if you don't find it in pc then turn on file sharing to default In usb settings.

Cable given in the phone box is type c to type c, how do I connect it to pc ? My pc doesn't have a type c port
