Why does the eye comfort mode not work on Lockscreen ?
I have Samsung A51, and the eye comfort mode is not working on Lockscreen as I can see.

If you're using In-display fingerprint scanner then Eye Comfort shield will not work on lock screen.

Yeah...
.
I turned off the fingerprint unlock. Then Eye comfort mode was implemented on Lockscreen...
.
.
.
But shouldn't it be also applied when fingerprint unlock was On ?

No it can't be turn on
Because a series line up is using
Optical scanner
So optical need light so the display it self emit light with help of oled screen
Then it see your finger reading then unlocks
While using this kinda Brightness in that portion and using that filter (EyeComfortShild) it can ruin the process may sometimes fingerprint won't read faster
This is only issue with optical scanners

Flagship like S Series have ultrasonic
That don't need light that work with sound wave so those phones can use Eye comfort shiled with lockscreen and fingerprint

Hope you understand

Why you need eye comfort on lock screen, lock screen is something we see for less duration.

Yeah ... True ...
.
But different people have different needs ...
And I was just wondering why the Eye comfort mode is not applied on Lockscreen ? 🙄

Because eye comfort is for long time screen viewing. Were as lock screen is for less screen time just for lock screen notifications. Fingerprint sensor has nothing to do here.
