Extraction Bug in 'My files' application Galaxy A71

Any zip file sent by other phones is not getting extracted by extract option in 'My files' (built in file manager application)

It appears as 0 Kb files post extraction and files are not usable. Same zip is extracted well by other applications such as 'Files by Google'.

Try using any other file manager like Google files. If it works in them then it's file manager issue you can reset data of file manager and check or send error logs to Samsung
