Dolby Atmos won't stay on and yes, settings appear to be correct. It is supposed to turn ON when I plug in earphone and grey out(turn off) when I pull out earphone. Everytime I fire up Spotify, I have to check to see if Atmos is running. And it rarely is. What gives? Anybody else experiencing this? Any fixes?

Edit: Yeah I know Dolby atmos does not work without eaphone. I am asking that Once I turned ON Dolby, then it should be turned ON itself automatically whenever I plug in earphone after removing it. After removing earphone, Dolby turn off automatically  but if I again plug in earphone, Dolby sometimes turn ON itself sometimes not. I have to check every time I listen music.

Please note that the Dolby Atmos feature would work only when earphone plugged in.

Please boot your device into Safe Mode and try again. From there you can find out whether there's a 3rd party app causing the issue. If it's still didn't work, try to perform Factory Data Rest.

Dolby only works on stereo speakers(Headphones or dual speakers in phone). If phone has mono speaker then it won't work.

Only Flagship devices have Stereo Speakers. So Dolby Atmos won't work with your device as your device isn't supported as far as hardware is concerned.
It will work only when the earphones are plugged in.
