Is it okay if we charge our phones overnight, since we have to take the phone morning to office? I got a new Galaxy A50✌

Usually, it is not a good practice. But nowadays phones comes with a smart switch, it will disconnect battery connection once your battery is fully charged. But still, a bit risky I would say.

If you leave the smartphone plugged in overnight, it's going to use a bit of energy constantly trickling new juice to the battery every time it falls to 99 percent. This will affect the lifespan of the battery

Nothing happens. After 100% the phone is smart enough to stop taking input from charger.

I'm doing this on my earlier J7 Prime and now on A50.. No issues observed. Its stops charging once 100% is achieved and also no heating observed either in Handset or Charger in morning

U must charge ur phone before going to office, otherwise ur phone will die without enough juice. 😝
Every battery lasts minimum of one to two years at its peak performance, then will reduce charge capability
