Charging problems

When I use mobile the charge of mobile is going as before but when I don't use it a lot of charge is going why is this happening?

Is your device heating while not using it.If it is heating it might be any hardware issues.If it's not heating it says that your battery degraded.If found helpful pls accept as solution.

I had this on my s2 and when i took it to the service centre they told that it's a hardware issue
