There is something called 12m and 50m In top of my camera app what does that mean I tried switching but there is no picture quality difference

That is 12 mega pix and 50 mega pix resolution. U can not notice diffren in mobile screen..u ll see the difference once you see the pic in big screen.like laptop or smart tv
