Battery heating and drain issue after screen replacement

So i got my screen replaced (new kit) of samsung a72 and now the battery drains very fast especially when idle and also heats up when charging. 

Like after 8 hrs 60% my battery drained while on standby

Any idea what should i do now?

Keep your device Turned off whole night, and then check for battery drain overnight.
If it drains battery even in switched off condition, then your mobile is short circuited. Most probably board.

If battery is not drained then it could be display or software issue. To diagnose that. You have to check your device under many conditions like Display testing, may be double tap to wake-up feature is faulty, or may be Panel is not good and it's draining battery because of AOD. Or it could be because of Display connector shorting.
You have to find that yourself by checking again and again your device
