Take backup of the contacts and other google related data.
Steps:

Settings > Apps > Google Play Services > Storage > Clear Cache and Clear Data.

Repeat same steps for Contacts

Reboot

Reboot again into recovery mode

Wipe cache partition

Reboot

Install Good Guardians from Samsung Store

Install Galaxy App Booster in Good Guardians

Run App Booster

Reboot

Setting > Apps > Three Dot Menu > Reset App Preferences

Check that Google Play Services up to date (it was)

Update all apps even the ones that had been put in deep/sleep
Let me know the result after that.

Note: it will remove your customization related to google services. Which you need to setup again that. But eventually it will fix your issue.
Faced same issue before.

Press and hold the contacts button.

Pop up will show. Click the
" í " information button.

Goto battery. And move from optimised to restrict.

I also restrict the Mobile Data section "allow background", I stop that.

Finally clear cache and I hope that works for you pal. 🫡

I do this on 99% of apps to prevent data usage, battery drain and health of my phone.

To improve the battery performance of your device we recommend following these steps:

1. Optimize Battery Settings:
- Go to Settings > Device care > Battery.
- Tap on "Optimize now" to close background apps and optimize device performance.

2. Check for Battery-Draining Apps:
- Go to Settings > Device care > Battery > App power management.
- Identify and limit the background activity of apps consuming excessive battery.

3. Adjust Screen Brightness:
- Lower your screen brightness or enable Adaptive brightness to allow the device to adjust brightness based on ambient lighting.

4. Review Location Services:
- Go to Settings > Biometrics and security > Location > Improve accuracy.
- Disable features like "Wi-Fi scanning" and "Bluetooth scanning" if not needed.

5. Update Software:
- Ensure your device is running the latest software version. Go to Settings > Software update > Download and install.

6. Factory Reset (if needed):
- If the issue persists, consider performing a factory reset. Ensure to back up your data before proceeding.
