This is my reply to another fellow user. You may also try this. I cannot assure you whether this will work for you, but these are the things that I follow when I need more SOT 1)Dark mode, black wallpaper on home, and lock screen. 2)Turn off Bluetooth, GPS, NFC, wifi, and bt scanning (use only when required) 3) put all apps that I don't use regularly in deep sleep mode. I have about 40 apps in deep sleep. 4) AOD set to "tap to show". 5) I don't game 😜 6) I don't give unwanted permissions to the apps that I have installed. 7) Bare minimum permissions to Galaxy gallery app and automatic updates is turned off.
Other things which I did - I updated using smart switch app and deleted the cache partition after the update. Also, I use my phone mostly indoors and a brightness level of 50 percent or less.
