Samsung can support older compatible phones for firmware and OS update at some real minimum cost. Those who want to update can do so by paying for it.

Samsung has Knox processor in some of their phone which is very much inferior in quality than snapdragon. Samsung fooled many of their customers.

OPPO, one plus, xiomi are far better than Samsung and apple. Two world leading ( not true) are cheating their customers. I will never buy Samsung or Apple in future. If you want features and regular updates on your phones go for pixel phones.
