Has anyone received Android 14 and UI 6 update till yet. If yes, what is worth sharing about that...

Mostly received on S23 & A54.
In Pakistan, only CPID phones are facing issues in particular.

Worldwide experience is not satisfactory. The main issues are related to display, battery, overheating, and ram management.

All of my phones are not updated yet, i.e., A73 5G, S22 Ultra & Fold4.

Then why they are rolling out the update if it's still unstable!

They have to act according to their timeline. They have started their testing for 6.1(for Galaxy S, A, F) & 6.1.1(for tabs and foldables) as it has to be fine tune b4 S24 Ultra (feb24)

All issues will be fixed during the coming updates.

This update mostly affects the S21 & S22 series worldwide and CPID phones in Pakistan.

No issue is reported in Pakistan for the official devices.

It means you will not be getting a UI update this month. You will get it with the January security patch. Hopefully,

"CPID" stands for "Customer Programming Identifier" or "Carrier Product Identifier.""" It is a code that is used in the mobile industry to represent specific configurations or versions of mobile devices.
To save money, some shopkeepers or people illegally change the phone identity with some cheap phone that is PTA approved already. Resulting the low tax rate.
Patch approved is almost the same, but it doesn't last long. It removes after the phone is hard reset.

But the main issue hits you in case of phone theft. As ID doesn't match.

For example, your patch approved some s22 ultra, and through the CPID process, it was changed to Samsung J5. Since J5 tax is less, you have to pay very little amount for PTA, and all this amount goes to shopkeepers' pockets as they mostly use pre-approved cheap phones.

PTA is working on software to identify such phones and block straightaway.
