On Android 12, September patch, I was getting 7 hours minimum SOT from 100 to 20 percent. After Android 13(December security patch), it has been reduced to 5 hours.

That's a drastic reduction of 2 freaking hours of screen on time!!
I already knew that they messed up the battery after the December update but never thought that it will be this worse!

Yes, I did send them feedback and error reports and received the mandatory copy-pasted BS reply.

Hoping to get the January update soon which MAY fix the issue. TBH I have lost faith in Samsung and wouldn't have updated if not for the 5g. Everything was smooth on Android 12, especially the battery life. A 2-hour plus reduction is not acceptable.

Nb: The reduction in battery life is happening when I am not on 5g. At this rate, I am afraid that the phone will have to be used as a landphone(full-time on charger)when I am on 5g.

Nb: THE ANDROID 12 ONES ARE FROM 85 TO 20 WHILE THE ANDROID 13 ONE IS FROM 100 TO 20.

Did you report by going to the support section of this app? Just do it if you haven't already. More number of reports for the same device may do some good.

When I updated to One UI 5.0 the battery use to drop on idle by 11% to 15% over the night but now it drops by 6%. Compared to One UI 4.0 / 4.1 it is taking longer for One UI to understand the usage. My Device was updated in Nov 22 🤔 I guess. Samsung should start releasing phones with bigger battery like 7000 mAh like in M51 or F62 as they cannot control battery drain so that phone lasts at least a day.

How long will a 7000mah takes to full charge with samsung fast charging.

Maybe spilt cells with 67 W charging might be a solution

Yes 7000 mAh will take a bit longer to charge but it will last a day, currently if I use the phone heavily then I have to charge it in between and if I don't use the phone a lot then just left with 10% to 15% battery backup at the end of the day

One UI 5 has many bugs, and our most widespread(and SAMSUNG'S most beloved) BATTERY DRAIN can never leave us alone 😅.

And now even the phone app has a bug when we report a phone number!
& the recent menu background color!

I think the bugs will only get fixed(if they want to) after One UI 5.1 update.
