Androd security patch level Dec-22

Please tell why my Samsung Galaxy A70 mobile is not getting Android Security patch level update since December-22.

Because A70 was launched in 2019 and I guess it was under three year's of security updates. Which ended in 2022.

Ok but why three years?

I don't know why.. but maybe it helps company to maintain limited number of unit's to work on between these period. Also this policies make users to purchase a new phone which will get updates which helps company generate revenue I guess that's why..
