I updated to the latest version the other day and I've been finding my phone with the wifi turned off randomly ever since, to the point that it totally ate my data away in just two days.

I just checked and there's a new option to auto turn off wifi and it's on BY DEFAULT.

Seriously what's up with this?!!!

THANKS SAMSUNG NOW I DON'T HAVE DATA FOR THE REST OF THE MONTH

I had an A8+ it had the opposite problem the wifi would turn on on its own even if I turn it off it will turn back on. I checked settings and automatic turn on wifi was off. It only got fixed with an update.

Hi,

Please note that Bluetooth connection and pairing between devices vary per model, software and manufacturer. Hereafter troubleshooting steps can help you to sort out the problem:

1) Enable Phone visibility/Discovery mode.

For Samsung mobile phones Home screen, tap Settings > Connections > Phone visibility, then toggle to turn on.

2) Ensure that the other Bluetooth device ready in Pairing mode.

For non-Samsung devices/accessories, please refer to the user manual or contact your manufacturer in order to enable device visibility/discovery mode and pairing mode.

3) Search and pair your device.

From the phone Settings > Connections > Bluetooth > Scan > Choose the Bluetooth device (Connect/Pair).

Note: Both devices should be used in 10 meters range.

Also, you may try to reset your network settings to its factory default settings. From Home screen, tap Settings > General management > Reset > Reset network settings.

Note: This will erase all network settings, including those for: Wi-Fi, Mobile data and Bluetooth.

In addition, try to clear the Bluetooth cache and data, From Home screen, tap Settings > Apps > Tap options (three dots in the upper-right corner) > Show system apps > Bluetooth > Storage > Clear Cache/Data.
