After Galaxy A16 update to One UI Version 8.0 fingerprint sensor not working

Hey there I have Galaxy A16 and after it's One UI Version 8.0 update it's fingerprint sensor is not working and keeps saying Fingerprint sensor not responding please restart your phone again and after several attempts it's still showing the same results so I just wanted to ask if it is issue with update or hardware of phone itself

Reset your phone. It'll be fine or else visit Service Centre

I have tried it a lot and just moments earlier it said fingerprint data corrupted and was deleted automatically and now i can't even set it again
