Galaxy A### Step 1: Unroot Your Device
1. **SuperSU/ Magisk**: If your device was rooted using SuperSU or Magisk, you can use these apps to unroot it.
- **SuperSU**: Open SuperSU, go to Settings, and select “Full Unroot”.
- **Magisk**: Open Magisk Manager, go to the settings, and select “Uninstall Magisk”.
### Step 2: Reinstall Stock Firmware
1. **Download Odin**: Odin is a tool used to flash Samsung firmware.
2. **Download Firmware**: Visit a reputable site like SamMobile or Samsung Firmware and download the latest firmware for your Galaxy A73.
3. **Prepare Your PC**:
- Ensure you have the necessary USB drivers installed on your computer. You can download them from the Samsung website.
- Extract the firmware files you downloaded.
4. **Enter Download Mode**:
- Turn off your Galaxy A73.
- Press and hold the Volume Down + Power buttons simultaneously until you see a warning screen.
- Press the Volume Up button to enter Download Mode.
5. **Flash the Firmware Using Odin**:
- Open Odin on your computer.
- Connect your Galaxy A73 to the computer using a USB cable.
- Odin should recognize your device (a blue box will appear under ID:COM).
- Add the firmware files to Odin. Make sure to place each file in the correct section (BL, AP, CP, CSC).
- Click “Start” and wait for the process to complete. Your phone will restart once the flashing process is complete.
### Step 3: Factory Reset Your Device
1. **Factory Reset**:
- After reinstalling the stock firmware, perform a factory reset to ensure any remaining root traces are removed.
- Go to Settings > General Management > Reset > Factory Data Reset.
### Step 4: Check for Software Updates
1. **Update Software**:
- Once your device is unrooted and running stock firmware, go to Settings > Software Update and check for updates.
By following these steps, you should be able to remove the root access from your Galaxy A73 and restore its ability to receive official software updates and use Knox features. If these steps seem complicated or if you encounter any issues, consider seeking help from a professional technician.
