1 in five time approximately i have noticed that while unlocking phone with fingerprint, it shows a 5mm approx. black dot at the top corner of fingerprint scanner; restart / cache clean via boot menu / reset all done; issue is still there!

Is this a manufacturing defect? Got the phone 3 days back! Should i get my phone replaced???

All those facing similar issue, please comment.

Hi Ankur,
Even i have noticed that. As its a UnderDispaySanner I think its not a defect, as even it would be visible on display as well.
no fully confirmed, just my opinion..

i went to 3 different samsung stores today to know if anybody else has reported this issue spoke with various people. checked the similar phone i.e. a71 of somebody else as well. the issue is not there on other devices.

so, i guess, we have a faulty device.

already done 2 days back twice.....still no constructive from your end!

i just received a message that log report is being evaluated. I don't know how much time it's gonna take. This is my first time with samsung, switched from oneplus - got this phone for my family member and somehow i am starting to regret my decision.
