Here is a clear
✅ Why your Samsung A56 shows charging but doesn’t actually charge (fixed after restart)
Main reason:
A software glitch in the phone’s charging system. The charging icon appears, but the battery percentage doesn’t increase until you restart the phone.
Possible Causes
Charging software service freezes – Restart resets it.
Battery management system hangs – After restart it works again.
Charging port detection error – Phone detects the cable but no power flows.
Charger/cable voltage negotiation fails – Restart refreshes the connection.
Overheating or moisture warning – Temporarily blocks charging.
✅ Permanent Fix Options
Clear USB Settings cache (Settings → Apps → Show system apps → USB Settings → Clear cache/data)
Clean the charging port
Try a different cable/charger
Update software
Test charging in Safe Mode
