A55 security update

Today on 19th of june 2024 GALAXY A53 got june security update and the successor of its successor A55 is still on April security update. And there is no news why SHAMESUNG is delaying updates to the newly launched.

I am experiencing the same issue. I wish more customers would come forward, hoping that Samsung will explain why they haven't delivered what was promised, which is why I bought the phone. I wrote to them, and they assured me we would receive the update on June 18th, but that didn't happen. As a faithful customer I feel very let down by Samsung.

Samsung was making s24 FE but unfortunately the made a A55 . So they are not in the mood to give an update.

Shame on you, old men, since you don't have basic knowledge about complexity of software updates process in a huge company like Samsung Electronics.

You forgot to mention your mobile services operator. They also have to accept any software updates (which are downloaded through their network), after Samsung release them.

You see, some flaws on A53 were corrected when A54 was launched on market, but not all of them. It's obvious that A55 has far less flaws than A53.

That's why, first of all, older models receive security updates. In other words, trough genetic code (which is based on D.N.A.), the nephew learns from mistakes made from his father and grandfather.

As for your knowledge I know much more than basic knowledge about software updates. Second you are talking about mobile operators accepting updates. This thread is not about operator locked devices it is about unlocked international varients. Third we are not talking about the completely new or updated firmwares this is about security updates Google releases on monthly basis and samsung just tweeks them for there devices. Pls correct your knowledge and don't make yourself to look like a fool

Exactly - that guy has no idea what he's talking about. Phones in the UK haven't been "locked" to a provider for 10+ years. Is he living on the moon?

Bro a55 and a54 always get updates before a53. This time it is different and that's why people are complaining
