1️⃣ Fast Charging Setting Might Be Off
Sometimes the setting is disabled.
Check this:
Open Settings Tap Battery Tap Charging settings Make sure Fast charging is ON
If it is off, the phone will only charge normally.
2️⃣ Adapter Compatibility
The Galaxy A55 supports 25W Super Fast Charging (USB-PD PPS).
Not every “flagship adapter” supports the correct protocol.
Best compatibility is with chargers like:
Samsung 25W Super Fast Charging Wall Charger (EP‑TA800) Any USB-PD PPS 25W+ charger
If the adapter does not support PPS, the phone may switch between fast and normal charging.
3️⃣ Cable Quality
Even if the cable looks good, it must support high-power USB-C PD.

Try another USB-C to USB-C PD cable.
4️⃣ Charging Port Dust
Dust in the port can cause unstable fast charging.
What to do:
Turn off the phone Use a wooden toothpick or soft brush Gently remove dust from the port
Do not use metal objects.
5️⃣ Phone Temperature
If the phone gets too warm, Samsung disables fast charging automatically.
This happens when:
Gaming while charging Hot weather Thick phone case
Try charging when the phone is cool.
6️⃣ Software Glitch
Sometimes a simple restart fixes it.
Try:
Restart the phone Update software: Settings → Software Update
