We have observed a significant degradation in battery life on our Samsung devices, specifically the A55, A56, S22, S23, and S24 series, since upgrading to OneUI7.

Our testing, conducted in both technical and layman's terms, reveals that we need to charge these devices more than twice a day for standard usage, resulting in battery levels ranging from 10% to 25% at the end of the day.

We believe this issue stems from a fundamental engineering code implementation error in OneUI7 that cannot be adequately addressed through minor modifications.

Our analysis suggests that meaningful debugging and resolution of this issue will likely require updates or fixes introduced in OneUI8.

We have already shared our findings and recommendations with the relevant engineering quality control and R&D teams.

If the battery charge capacity bug in OneUI7 remains undetected, it may indicate a mismatch between the device's capabilities and the needs of users who require reliable and efficient smartphones. In such cases, users might need to reassess their requirements and consider alternative options that better align with their needs for a smartphone.
