Mine doesn't have overheating issues when playing CPU intensive games or doing heavy tasks. Yes, the phone becomes warm, which is normal but not too warm, making the phone uncomfortable to hold.

When your phone is overheating, do you feel uncomfortable hot temperature (finger's skin feels like burning) when you touch the top area on the screen between the front camera and volume keys? Do you smell burning electronics on top of the phone, near the call speaker, when the phone overheats? If you answer any of the two questions with a yes then you should take the phone to a repair centre.

Note: There are some games when playing for long hours that can make the phone feel hot (which is also normal in most cases). Holding the phone feels a little uncomfortable. If this is the case, make sure not to play these games for long hours.

I have never used the TikTok app, but if watching Tiktok videos on the Tiktok app causes your phone to overheat rather than watch YouTube videos on the YouTube app, then uninstall TikTok app. If watching videos on YouTube cause your phone to overheat, then your phone has a problem that needs further investigation to find the real cause of overheating because I never experienced heating issues with YouTube app. (I am comparing TikTok with YouTube because these two are the most common video streaming apps). TicTok app is known to cause overheating problems due to poor optimization, but I don't know how it performs nowadays.

But before bringing your phone to a repair centre, it would be better if you try using the phone in maintenance mode. If your phone still overheats in maintenance mode while using the games and apps that previously cause overheating, then exit from maintenance mode, then backup your data, and then factory reset the phone. If the phone still overheats during normal usage (gaming, watching TikTok, using other apps) after factory reset, then your phone definitely has a problem which need further investigation (a repair service centre might help).

Maybe it's the most recent update. They will need to issue another patch to solve the problem
