A53 4 years later

This phone turned 4 years last month....replaced the battery once about a year ago and it still works.....it will receive one ui 8.5 as the last update, I really can't wait for an update

they can definitely update A53 to One UI 8.5. They can stripped down features that won't be stable or work on A53. They can give reasons why they can't update A53 to 8.5...At least give the Visual/skin update!..like the new app update like device care, digital Wellbeing, clock, calculator..then system skins..

Yeah that would work, but I guess Samsung didn't feel like it was necessary, but then I again this smartphone is old and was underpowered myb that could be the reason as for the S22 it's not fair

It already has 8.0 so 8.5 isn't an issue. It's the same Android version.

Lol not according to Samsung, but according to it's year of release it is old,and to be honest 4 years of software os updates was a great deal for a midrange phone
