A friend has an A52S 5G and everytime the phone disconnected from a wireless network the mobile data needs to be turned off and back on in order for the phone to have mobile data.

The people at the cellular shops say this is a common problem with the A52S. The latest firmware has been installed on the phone but still no difference. The SIM card is also new

Anyone have a similar problem?

Hi Sluggo, please reset network settings.

*Stored Wi-Fi, Mobile data and Bluetooth passwords may be removed.

1. From the home screen, swipe either up or down to access apps.
2. Select Settings.
3. Select General Management.
4. Select Reset.
5. Select Reset network settings.
6. Tap Reset settings

If the issue persists, please perform a soft reset of your device.

Press and hold the power and volume down buttons for about 10 seconds.

*The device may take a screenshot, however, keep holding the buttons for a few more seconds.

Hi Sluggo,

Did you manage to resolve this issue? I am experiencing the same issue.

With load-shedding in SA, the GSM towers signal drops off and the phone doesn't pick it up once the signal is back. Then I have to switch the airplane mode on and off, and it picks up GSM network again.
