I just bought the A52 and my mic is faulty.
People can't hear what I am saying.
Please assist

Hi, JoeyBadAss please test the receiver and the mic. 

 

1. From the phone dialler, enter *#0283#.
2. Select RCV Packet Loopback ON (it may appear as Start: RCV_1stMic on some devices).

Say a few words as if you were on a call. If you hear your own voice, it's working correctly.

Can you hear your voice?

  • Hi, I've got the same problem.  Bought the phone 2 weeks ago. And I've just realised the  mic is faulty . And I flowed the steps you've said and I can't hear myself. I'll try to go back to the shop tomorrow,  even if it is just after the 14 days trial period.  I hope they will change it on the spot 🙏

Hi,

In my A52 5G, dialing *#0283# as mentioned, shows the following options:

1. Start: RCV_1stMic

2. Start: SPK_2ndMic

The first option barelly hear my voice. Now selecting the second option, I can hear it loud and clear. Is this something I can configure as  a default option in my smartphone?

Happened to me too while having a video call the mic stopped working. The phone was charging during the call. 

After a restart it was alright. Samsung team, please take note.
