A51 light sensor not working properly while making a call

I notice that when I make a call my display is not switched off properly sometimes. And the phone should be very close to the ear to off the display. Maybe it has programmed to switch off the display based on the tilt angle also. It is unlike other phones with proximity sensors.

I think it is a failure. Did any of you guys notice that?

Sometimes the sensor does not work properly due to the humidity on the screen. This often happens to me too🥴
