A50s Performance Boost 4GB phones

Hi there,

Initially when I use my mobile I feel the laggy and some Performance issue on my A50s mobile.

I had checked all other YouTube suggestions.. it not much improved the performance. 

Finally I got answer myself. 

I just followed 2 steps... now my mobile acts like 6GB mobile.

Steps :

1. You need to enable developer option by 

Settings > About phone > Software Information 

Then hit Build number many times to enable developer option..

Here is the tricks to do.

2. You can see three Animation options like

Windows Animation scale, Transitions Animation scale, Animator duration scale 

You can change this to 0.5 

3. this is most important one to increase performance like 6GB mobile 

In the developer option page you can see Background Process Limit 

You can change this to limit process upto 4

Thats it.

Now your mobile will be faster than before.. It just increased my mobile performance.

It did not increase the performance, it just reduced animation scales that makes you feel your phone is faster. Normal performance is still the same. Have been using it for months now.

yes. I can see the difference after changed the above. you are right. animation is little reduced.

but when you change the background process from standard limit to fixed. it will definitely useful.

standard limit is : 20 process limit
if you set it to 4 proces. that would be great. it makes the RAM works faster than before.

That will kill background processes and 6 GB RAM will be useless.

now I understood.. if you are using 6GB mobile.. it is already fast.. no need to follow this..

Alrigtht! Then limiting processes will help, but that animation scale helps even with 12 GB RAM phones.

I did these changes, couldn't see any improvement. But what I noticed is, battery drain issue. So, rolled back to original settings for Animations. Also, I have posted the background app limit some time ago. No use of limiting it. Still apps will run in background. These settings are just to eye wash us.
