I have Samsung Galaxy A5 2017 and after update Oreo my camera quality is poor and the battery backup is very low
so please next update fixed this update

Yes battery life has decreased, may be Oreo consumes more of sweet battery. may be also issue with software related to oreo. Anyways, Samsung must bring out sub 5.2 inch screen size phone in mid range as many people like small screen phones. The phone must be having latest OS with advanced chipset and other latest features.
