Has anyone had an issue with a sim card on A35, it first says "Sim 1 not allowed " then it shows the signal bar and says " Emergency calls only". The sim card works on other phones. And I have another sim card of a different network working on this A35.
I have tried resetting the network settings and restarting the phone but nothing. Also checked the diagnostics of the sim tray and it says it works fine.
Check SIM Card Manager: Go to Settings > Connections > SIM manager and ensure the SIM 1 toggle is actually turned On. Test Other Slots: If your A35 is a dual-SIM model, try moving the problematic SIM to the SIM 2 slot. Often, only one slot might be affected by an IMEI block or hardware issue.
Clear SIM Toolkit Cache: Go to Settings > Apps, tap the "Your apps" sort icon and enable Show system apps. Find SIM Toolkit, go to Storage, and tap Clear cache and Clear data.
It could be that sim1 only accepts a certain network provider sim card and you can use any sim on sim2 card slot. Please check.
