A34 Caledar issue

When I click the calendar widget and the calendar is set to month mode the silly thing always tries to add a new event immediately. I want it to just open the calendar viewing the month and do nothing. I will add an event myself when I feel like it. It does not seem to behave this way in week or day mode.

Must I just restart the phone?

U must have tried it restarting it already. I mean resetting it. Start it fresh on one ui6

Back up everything except the settings and restore the backup but not the settings backup

Cause after doing all that, I don't experience it anymore

I restarted the phone and its still the same. I will just remove the widget and stop using the stock calendar app. The popup annoys me too much.
