When I click the calendar widget and the calendar is set to month mode the silly thing always tries to add a new event immediately. I want it to just open the calendar viewing the month and do nothing. I will add an event myself when I feel like it. It does not seem to behave this way in week or day mode.

Yes UI6. I find the thing really annoying when I just want to look at the calendar and public holidays and stuff. It is a right pain.

There doesn't seem to be a way to turn it off.

Okay, have you tried resetting the phone after updating, or have you updated the calendar..

Yeah, software updates do not matter even if it's new, sometimes lags and hiccups can just occur if it's not properly optimized
