Sounds like it could be a botched update. You can try and use the samsung smart switch application on a computer and use the emergency recovery to flash and reinstall the OS. Never used this before, so i cannot comment on whether your existing data will be retained.

Galaxy A
It sounds like your Samsung Galaxy A20 is stuck in a boot loop due to an interrupted software update. This can happen when the update process is disrupted, leaving the firmware corrupted. Here are some steps to resolve the issue:
1. Force Restart the Device
Hold the Power and Volume Down buttons simultaneously for about 10-20 seconds.
If the phone restarts, allow it to complete the booting process.
2. Boot into Recovery Mode
Turn off your phone (if possible).
Press and hold the Volume Up and Power buttons simultaneously until the Samsung logo appears.
Release the Power button while continuing to hold the Volume Up button.
Once in Recovery Mode, use the volume buttons to navigate and the power button to select.
Options in Recovery Mode:
Wipe Cache Partition: This clears temporary system files and may resolve the issue without deleting your data.
1. Select "Wipe Cache Partition."
2. Confirm the action.
3. Restart the device.
Factory Reset: If wiping the cache doesn’t work, you may need to perform a factory reset. This will erase all data on the phone.
1. Select "Wipe Data/Factory Reset."
2. Confirm the action.
3. Restart the device.
3. Reflash the Firmware
If Recovery Mode doesn’t work, you may need to reflash the firmware using a tool like Odin. This process can fix corrupted software but requires some technical knowledge.
Steps:
1. Download the official firmware for your A20 from Samsung's official firmware site or a similar source.
2. Install Odin on your computer.
3. Boot your phone into Download Mode:
Turn off the device.
Press and hold Volume Down + Power until you see a warning screen.
Press Volume Up to enter Download Mode.
4. Connect your phone to your PC via USB.
5. Use Odin to load the firmware files and reflash the device.
4. Seek Professional Help
If the steps above feel too technical or don’t resolve the issue, visit a Samsung service center or a reputable phone repair shop. They can professionally reflash the firmware or diagnose hardware issues.
Let me know if you need detailed guidance on any of these steps!
