5G Update Delay on Samsung Devices in Pakistan

I want to raise a concern regarding 5G support on Samsung devices in Pakistan. I am using Galaxy A54 5G with Zong and Galaxy A34 5G with Jazz. Even though 5G services have now been licensed and rolled out, these devices are still unable to connect because Samsung has not yet released the required software update.

Zong has already contacted Samsung about this issue, but there is still no clear response or timeline from Samsung. Because of this delay, users like us are unable to use the 5G service that we have already paid for through both our devices and network packages.

This is quite disappointing because Samsung has been selling these phones with 5G branding for a long time. The update should have been ready so that as soon as 5G was activated in Pakistan, it would start working automatically, just like it did during the 4G rollout.

At the moment, even some lower priced phones from other brands are already running 5G, while Samsung users are still waiting without any clear update. This gives a very poor user experience and raises serious concerns.

I request Samsung to clearly inform users about when the 5G update will be released and to resolve this issue as soon as possible.

Yes, you are right that currently Apple, Samsung, and Google devices are not able to use 5G here because the required update patch has not been released yet. These are large companies and they follow strict security protocols and certification processes, but this should have been handled in time.

Customers have been buying these phones for the past three to four years with 5G branding, trusting these brands and spending their hard-earned money. It is not acceptable that when 5G is finally available, the feature is still not enabled on these devices.

The least these companies should do is communicate clearly and release the required update so users can actually use the functionality that was advertised and paid for. Right now, the silence and delay are disappointing for loyal customers

Aisa nahi hai main network say confirm kar chuka hoon yehi simcard use hogi jo LTE per chal rahi thi or agar eSim hai tab bhi yehi existing use hogi koi sim change ki zarorat nahi hai. Issue is with mobile phone companies jinho nay yeh feature lock kia hua hai or usay unlock ka patch through update daingy then after update we will able to use 5g services in Apple, Samsung and Google phones

Iska taluq pakistan say nahi hai... Samsung Apple n Google companies pakistani nahi hain. Inho nay feature lock kia hua hai apnay phones main jo k through update yeh unlock karengay. As a customer hamen in say syrongly demand karni chahiye k jis cheez k paise letay ho woh cheez timely provide karo... warna q ham 5g letay .. ham 4g phones bhi normally use kar saktay hain yeh sirf isi liye lia tha k 5g service anay per use kar sakain gy.....

Meray bhai aap wrong example day rahay hain.... quetta main agar cellular company services ON nahi karti to yeh alag masla hai.... main yeh baat kar raha hoon k main main city say hoon yahan cellular companies nay services jahan jahan ON kardi hain lekin in baray brands ki negligence ki wajah say yeh services ham use nahi kar pa rahay hain... yeh log 5g ki branding say sallon say phone baith rahay hain k yeh wala phone 5g enabled hai to phir jab time aya usay use karnay ka to woh feature hi locked hai to aap us brand ko yeh to kahengy na k app nay ye kia harkat ki hui hai isay theak kar k do.... is ka taluq pakistan ya pakistan k roz marra k mamolat like jis taraf aap nay ishara farmaya kay slow kam hota hai us say nahi hai... for me main kafi time day samsung user hoon main samsung ko pay kar raha hoon samsung nahi mujhy woh sari services hi nahi di jis ka naaam bana akr woh mujhy apna maall baichta raha hai.

Same mein bhi wait kar raha hu A55 mein 5G k liye. Meine yesterday Zong call centre per pocha tha but wo keh rahe hai Samsung ke taraf se delay hai. Aur aap sahe keh rahe hai 5G ko work karna chaiye Samsung mobiles per. Mein bhi curiously wait kar raha hu. Mera friend vivo V60 use kar raha hai us mein 5G work kar raha hai.
