I have the Galaxy A33 which has a 48mp camera and whenever I use that mode instead of the standard 12mp it also takes longer, that's because your phones is using all its processing power to capture a lot more details for the photo

Hello,there's nothing to worry about,Samsung devices take pictures in 12mp as default and if you shoot with full megapixels all models take abit longer to capture including the New S23Ultra
