Samsung Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 Plus, and Galaxy S22 Ultra smartphones are getting the One UI 6.1 based February 2025 security update. This update is live for users in Europe and will be expanded soon to more countries.
February 2025 security patch patch fixes one critical and 34 high-level CVEs for Android, with two CVEs not relevant to Galaxy devices. The update also includes 7 SVE items to improve user experience, addressing issues in the Samsung Find app, Android settings, and more.
With this new patch, Samsung aims to improve the security and stability to provide a better Galaxy experience. It also enhances some functions for smoother performance.
Users of Samsung Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 Plus, and Galaxy S22 Ultra smartphones are getting February 2025 security update via One UI builds S901BXXSDEYA1, S906BXXSDEYA1, and S908BXXSDEYA1 respectively.
The official release date for Android 15 One UI 7.0 remains unannounced. Following the launch of the S25 series, flagship devices will receive the update initially, subsequently followed by the S24 series, and finally mid-range devices. Precise release dates for all models are currently unavailable. Some reports suggest a February or March rollout for the S24 series, with flagship devices prioritized before mid-range models. However, there is no official confirmation regarding its Pakistan release.
