gesture for going back not working

The gesture for going back in the new android 10 full screen gestures mode not working from the right hand side of the screen

this is happening in few games and apps

this is a permanent issue on my phone
works for 2 mins when phone restarts, then stops working. left side works fine though

Use the app One Hand Gestures. very reliable and has lots of customization options
