Youtube app bug

Everytime i switch apps when youtube is open the youtube shorts freeze.. audio keeps playing but video is frozen.. it returns to normal only after i close youtube completely from background too and open it again..

Not only shorts, videos also have this, cannot toggle the video to full screen.
