I had upgraded my Samsung A55 (SMA556E) to OneUI 8 beta. I did it just before going to the office. It was the worst thing to do. I was not able to use the touch at all. Even mouse or keyboard won't work because I need to unlock the device for that!
I did not have the time to go to the service center till the weekend. Thanks to Microsoft Copilot, I was able to recover it, but had to leave my data behind.
In detail, we can only run into Download mode or hard reset mode only by connecting to a laptop when we do a force restart using the Volume down and Power keys. I tried the safe mode first. Then tried resetting it. Non of them helped. At last, I had to downgrade back to OneUI 7. I was not able to get the get the recovery code for the Samsung Switch recovery method. So, I had to rely on Odin flash. Unfortunately, HOME_CSC which retains the data is not useful (which I came to know after doing a second upgrade to test the issue). And finally, after the downgrade, I was able use my phone again.
Hope no one upgrades to OneUI 8 beta.

There are issues due to residual files from one ui 7 still posing a problem. Go to recovery mode and clear cache. It will fix everything

Actually, I had even tried a reset after the beta upgrade (Tried on both Beta versions). Still the touch did not work at all.
Just after downgrading back to One UI 7, it was working properly.
So, the issue is not with the cache or the apps from One UI 7

The issue was the third party display. Got a new one from samsung store and it works fine now!
