Hi everyone,

I’m currently designing a complete smart home system using Samsung Galaxy devices, SmartThings sensors, and automation routines. My inspiration comes from a housing initiative called Apna Ghar Scheme that focuses on modern, accessible living solutions. You can check it out here: Apna Ghar Scheme.

In my setup I’ve done the following so far:

  • Used SmartThings Motion and Multipurpose sensors to track room occupancy

  • Automated lighting and fan controls using Bixby routines

  • Integrated voice assistant with Samsung UE speakers for ambient audio responses

I’m looking to add a feature where the system can detect muffled speaker output (due to dust or moisture) and trigger an audio-based self-cleaning routine. If anyone has tried something similar with Samsung audio gear or SmartThings automations, I’d love to discuss tools, workflows, and any hiccups you faced.

Thanks for any insights!

I’m working on a Unity project to create a smart home simulation inspired by real housing initiatives. For realistic design reference, I checked https://litebule.mywebselfsite.net/— it helped me plan smart lighting, sensor-driven appliances, and room interactions.
