Screen lock delay after power button is pressed

Is anyone facing a delay between when the screen actually turns off and the power button is pressed. I am facing a delay of 1.5 seconds on my end. Is this normal?

Yes... I also noticed the delay. I use lockstar and thought that it was causing the issue.
