Yesterday and the day before had a talk with Support. They are tight lipped about the status of next Beta release.
Has next Beta run into some serious glitch which Samsung is trying to address or is Samsung working on some unheard extraordinary feature. Whatever the reason Samsung's apathy towards it's Beta testing team is unwelcome.

Samsung having taken us into their confidence for beta testing should reveal the release status.

I was a beta tester for video editing softwares, Corel Video Studio and Power Director. Questions to beta team evoked an immediate response from the moderator or concerned technical specialist.

Updates rolled out once a fortnight after rectifying key functional errors. The entire beta testing lasted 6 to 8 weeks. As beta testers we got the final release free. Software then cost 3000 to 5000 rupees.

However here the scene is totally lopsided.

Beta testers have to beg and implore Samsung to know about updates

Samsung's high handedness is deplorable.

As a beta tester for numerous applications, I have never encountered this situation before. Their responses to my concerns have been generic and unhelpful. Therefore, I will not participate in Samsung's beta testing programs in the future.

Well said. Beta program in Samsung is entirely a boring and blind process. Not really expected from such a global giant. Whatever you expect or say, in the end, one thing is final..

They don't care at all!

True. It is tough to build a trust base and dedicated consumers. From the going ons it is apparent that Samsung is keen on tarnishing it's reputation as a leader in Android market.

Competition from China is fierce, unequal in terms of price, features and software roll outs not withstanding the unreliable usage life.
People today want latest, now and cheap. China is eager to serve this need. It won't surprise me if someone like Jack Ma becomes the CEO of Samsung.
