DiscussionsI have been facing a weird but very critical problem on my:
Galaxy S25 Ultra OS Build One UI 9.0 Beta (Android 17)
Frequency: Often, especially when opening apps or waking the phone from sleep
When launching any network-dependent app, such as Instagram, YouTube, X, Reddit, or Chrome, there is a noticeable 3–10 second delay. During this time, the app remains stuck on a loading spinner like there's no internet.
After the initial delay, the connection resumes and data loads normally at regular speeds.
Network Environment & Troubleshooting:
1. Network: Airtel Fiber using a PPPoE connection with custom Cloudflare/Google DNS.
2. IPv6: Disabled IPv6 at the router level to force IPv4-only mode, but this did not resolve the issue.
3. Wi-Fi: The issue occurs on both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz networks, including direct router connections and connections through repeaters.
4. Behavior: The issue appears to occur during the initial network connection after launching an app or waking the device. It may be related to a Wi-Fi power-saving/deep-sleep wake-up transition, modem/network stack behavior, or a DNS/socket initialization delay in the One UI 9 / Android 17 beta build.
Expected Behavior: Network-dependent apps should establish a network connection immediately and begin loading data without a multi-second delay. System log data has been attached to this report.
Anyone facing the same?

Yes..it is an issue. I also suspect it to be a A17 issue as I noticed the same behavior on Nothing phone 3
