Installed the beta 1 on my device today. Some observations after using it for the day.
1.Boot time still too long. Phone is practically buggy and unusable until 30 to 40 seconds post booting and entering the pin. Especially if you are on a esim like me.
2. Quick panel looks good. Practical usage and difficulty to be seen with time.
3.media player in the notification panel is sweet. Love the new fun design.
4. Phone gets a little jittery at times. Especially when operating the edge panel. Animations are yet to be fully optimizer I guess.
5.predective back animations are almost non existent even after enabling in developer options. Hopefully it's implemented across the whole system. Saw glimpses only in setting panel once.
5.camera app improved. I really hoped to see the star trails feature from s23 on this but disappointed. Hopefully the do bring that here.
6.the new font is OK.. Not the best.i may stick to Samsung one. Best part is we can switch to any font from the store. So not a big deal.
6.drag and drop feature is amazing and will reduce switch between apps a lot. Great for multitasking.
7. Studio app is very basic but should work for most users to create reels and such. Not very useful for me. But will still dig around.
8. Haven't encountered any major bugs that hamper useablity on a daily driver phone.
9. Samsung health app looks clean and amazing. Kudos.
10. Wearable app still the same. Hope to see some consistent changes similar to the health app.
11. Hopefully some changes to the boring call screen to make it more visually pleasing. Not that anything is wrong now but still hoping for a design overhaul just to make it more fun and pleasing.

Can't wait to see what beta 2 brings.

Will add more if there is more to add.

Thank you Samsung for bring the latest and greatest to us in such a quick manner and for always making sure your betas are almost as polished as stable updates.

Yeah the above points are good. But first thing is that.. I dont understand the point of changing the design of the UI only.. It is not revolutionary for upcoming One Ui.

Tell me in which case it helped anyone by moving pause and play buttons from bottom to middle in video player or giving Camera mp option in camera app. Still images have grains in 3x using telephoto lens with less details. Low light photography is still struggling. Little bit of greenish tint is there in picture in low light on using flash.

These thing they should focus not just changing the place of options and menus. This will be the actual improvement. Idk what this billion dollar company doing.

And nobody is taking on this just animation animation and animation.. Man 70k i spent not just for animation.

I agree with you. In my case the camera is functioning properly without any of the issues you mentioned. Grain is going to be there, and that is a result of smaller sensors on phone regardless of company. To reduce grain, some software optimization may help but it's basically at the cost of losing detail by smoothing the grainy bits. Samsung already does a fair bit of post image processing and in my honest opinion I think it's upto each company to find a good balance between grains and low light details.
Regarding the UI changes, i once again agree that not all UI changes immediately makes sense, but over time it's about the small changes that make slight differences in how we use our phones. Also UI changes means giving a generation older phone a new feel, making us excited to use our devices once again. Remember the days when with each new android version ,Google would completely change the UI and we would all be excited about it.
